The AMA has an agreement of mutual recognition of CME credit with the European Union of Medical Specialties (UEMS) – European Accreditation Council for CME (EACCME). Following the agreement on the mutual recognition of credits between the American Medical Association and the UEMS-European Accreditation Council for CME, European physicians can earn their European CME Credits (ECMEC®s) by attending live events worldwide, except in Europe, that have been certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. International physicians interested in converting AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ to European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education CME credit should contact the UEMS.

Please note that an AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM claim form will be available at the AMA booth during the conference. After delegates have filled the form, they can return it to the AMA monitor at the conference or send directly to the AMA no later than September 3, 2015 via fax at +1 (312) 464-5129 or as an email attachment to [email protected].
